Ansco negative of a parade of fuel trucks on 1st street West. A 1st fuel truck, a Ford with a V-8 engine, has the words Carter Extra Motor Oil on it. A smaller sign read Vincent A. Fleck, Carter, Products, Dickinson. The license plate on this truck reads T6449. Behind this truck is a wrecker with the word Goodyear Tie Service on it. The license plate reads North Dakota, '54, T61-020. On the left side of this truck is a fuel truck with the words Mobilgas and Mobiloil on it. Behind the wrecker is a gasoline tanker, and other fuel trucks. The tanker has the number 222 on it. The large 2 story building is the Elks building. The number 1137 and the letters BPOE are seen attached to the building. Below this sign is a Montgomery Ward sign and the bottom floor of the Elks building was the Montgomery Ward store. Another sign, further down the street reads S & L Stores. Sigs on buildings on the right side of the photo read, Hamm's Beer, 1-Hr Parking This Block, and Diamonds. Lights bulbs can be seen strung across the intersection of Sims and 1st street West. People can be seen watching the parade. Unidentified.
