Description
Kodak negative of a group of people eating at the Ray Hotel, located at 22 East Villard, in Dickinson, N.D. On the walls are the Great Seal of North Dakota. Behind the front table is a map of the United States, showing transportation hubs. There are two men standing and one of the men is handing over a piece of paper to the other individual. There is food on the tables as well as candles that are lit and flowers. Also on the table is an ashtray with a cigarette and a cigar in it. A book of matches is laying close by. The man sitting down, on the far right of the photo, is wearing a button that reads Hi Neighbor!, Bob Stranik, Dickinson, N. Dak., Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Stranik, depending on the date, had been, was now, or became, the Mayor of Dickinson. Exact date unknown. Except for Mr. Stranik the other are unidentified.
