Man receiving a letter from a postman. The man is dressed in a shirt, with a pen in the left shirt pocket, belt, and slacks. His right shoe has an extra sole on the bottom. The mailman is dressed in a shirt, tie, and Post Office uniform of a jacket, slacks, and a Post Office hat. On the left shoulder of his jacket is a badge, which reads, Post Office Dept USA. The man is standing on the front steps to the enclosed porch of his home. In his left hand he holds onto a carved wood cane. The house number is 29. 3 widows can be seen to the right of the open doorway. The letter carrier has a leather bag under his left arm, with the strap over his left shoulder. He is wearing snow boots over his shoes. Unidentified.
