Exterior photo of the Union Carbide Plant in Belfield, N.D. On the far left is a tower with a chute on its right and a large tank in front of it. A large pipe leads to a building, which has been built on piers, and from this building comes an even larger pipe. Behind the building, built on piers, is a railroad car with the letters NP on it. The 2nd larger pipe leads to a taller tower with a tank and chute. On the left and right sides of this tower are small sheds. Water can be seen on the ground. A barbed wire fence runs to the building built on piers. Telephone and electrical poles and wires can be seen.
