Photo shows a young woman being lifted up to kiss her boyfriend or husband soldier. She is wearing a coat. He is leading out of passenger train car window and is wearing his Army uniform. In his left hand he holds either a piece of paper or a handkerchief. The young man lifting her up is wearing a jacket, pants, and glasses. In the railway car window, behind the man who is leaning out, is seen only the face of a solider. In the next window, to the right, is seen part of an arm and part of the body of a solider. Snow can be seen on the ground. Photo was taken in Dickinson, N.D. Citizens were attending the leaving of the North Dakota National Guard, Co. K., 164 Infantry Regiment. Exact date unknown. Unidentified.
