Military Honor Guard procession down Villard Street, in Dickinson, ND. In front of the hearse, marching, are 2 Military Police, with rifles over their shoulders and wearing helmets. Two other Military men are carrying flags, the U.S. flag, and an American Legion, Dickinson, ND, Matthew Brew Post, flag. The hearse is behind these 4 military men. Other men, marching and in military clothing, are on both sides of the hearse. Cars are parked on both sides of the street. The railroad depot is on the right side. A license plate on car reads, North Dakota, 56-340, 1953. A sign on a street light reads 5 min. parking, No Double Parking, Day or Nite. Business signs on the left side read Hardware; Dodge and Plymouth; Standard; Ray Hotel; Bineks, booths, lunches, fountain, chops, steak, hamburgers, and malted milks; a Greyhound sign; Eat; Dickinson (movie theater) with a movie titled Million Dollar Mermaid, in color, staring Esther Williams and Victor Mature; Maccabees, legal reserve insurance, G. C. Gunderson, state manager; Gunderson Agency, Think; ..in Bar, air conditioned, liquor, and a 7up sign. On top of a building on the left side of the photo is the word Leonberger and the date 1906. A tall TV antenna is seen on the top of building on the left side. Street lights can be seen on both sides of the street. Unidentified.
