Robert Wilcox - (1869-1957)- A native of George, he came to North Dakota with a trail herd from Texas in 1889.He ranched in the Killdeer Mountains and became the first sheriff of Dunn County. He was involved with Wilse Richards in cattle and banking enterprises suffered reverses after WWI and retired to a small ranch on Spring Creek west of Killdeer. Portrait. Identified.
