Photo of an exhibit, a Blacksmith shop, that was made by Blacksmiths, Welders and Machinists. The exhibit building is made of wood, with branding irons on the left side, with brands branded into the wood. On top of the building are horse shoes. On the right side are more horse shoes and brands branded into the wood. Inside the exhibit, on the right side, is a furnace with bellows on the left side of the furnace. In the center is a machine that runs a rod, near the ceiling, to which wheels and belts have been attached. These wheels and belts run different machines. A sign inside reads Horseshoeing, 25 cents per foot and Plow shares, 25 cent each. On the back wall of the exhibit are different iron tongs. On the right side of the exhibit building, a wagon wheel can be seen. Further, to the right is a plow, and another wagon wheel. A cut down tree, sits in a barell, behind a wagon wheel. The exhibit building and other items are on a parade float. On the front of the float is a sign that reads Built for the (19) '66 Convention, Dist. 3 of the No. Dak. Blacksmith, Welders, Machinists, Assn.. A street sign in front of the float reads Hotel Loading Zone, 5 min. Limit. On the far right side of the photo is seen a man, in profile, who is wearing a shirt, jeans, and a wrist watch. A telephone/electric pole can be seen. Exact date unknown. Unidentified.
