Bagdad

Bagdad, the site of part of the Golden Jubilee celebration in 1932, was an entertainment-recreation complex southwest of town on "Palm Beach Road. " This area, originally a popular gathering spot known as McGillivray's pasture, was developed in the late 1920s by Pauline Belden. (Information from Centennial Roundup).
