Photo of calf roping at the 1947 Rodeo in Dickinson, N.D. The rider on the horse is in the process of lassoing the calf. Outside of the Rodeo grounds people are watching through a fence. The people wearing white shirts, slacks, hats with badges, and black ties were probably part of the city band. Behind the people are cars. Behind the cars are piles of hay. Behind the hay is the Schnell Livestock Sales building. Unidentified.
