Description

A photo showing the back of the Cargill Elevator located at 1101 W Broadway St. The elevator is made up of the main elevator and 2 satellite elevators. These are attached by conveyor belts to feed grain into them. A storage shed is on the west side of the west satellite elevator. 5 additional bins are located west of the elevator. The word Butler is on one of the grain bins. A truck is by the 2nd grain bin. Next to these 5 grain bins is a building used to mix grains for animal feed. The machinery located on the far right of the photo is used to move grain. The shadow of the photographer can be seen in the left bottom of the photo. Exact date unknown.
