Pioneering. Historical Photo Mural Decorates H. O. Lawton E. Osborn, Dickinson, N. D. photographer, is shown above standing in front of a photo mural of North Dakota historic scenes which he completed and which has been installed in the Pioneer Mutual cafeteria. Composed of 31 significan scenes from N. D. historical past, the mural is the produce of a 5 year state wide search for suitable old time photographs. The photos cover a wide range of N. D. history including Indian life, early farm and home scenes, cattle roundups, steaboating on the Red and Missouri Rivers, and pictures of Bonanza farms.
