Description
A photo of a man and woman standing in front of a 4-8-4 steam engine locomotive and its coal car. The man is wearing a shirt and slacks, and has a hat in his left hand. The woman is wearing a dress. She is looking over her right shoulder. The train engineer is wearing a shirt and hat, and is looking out of the locomotive widow, to the man and woman below. The locomotive has the letters N.P. (Northern Pacific), the numbers 2657, and A-2, written on it. The coal car has the words Northern Pacific on it. Coal can be seen at the top of the coal car. The locomotive and coal car appear to be new. The area behind the coal car appears to be part of the North Dakota Badlands. A telephone pole with telephone and electrical wires can be seen in front of the coal car. Exact date and location unknown. Unidentified.
