How the Kodak worked: You pulled a string at the front of the camera to wind the shutter mechanism, pointed the camera and pressed the black button. After shooting, you wound a key to advance the film. The Kodak had no viewfinder, so photographers had to eyeball the shots. Photos came out round. Kodakers -- as photo fiends came to be known -- could tell
