Description
A panoramic film negative of Dickinson taken from the west looking east and south. On the far left side in the background is St. Joseph's Hospital on the north side of town on 7th Street West. In about the middle of the image is the Russell Miller Milling Co. Occident Flour mill which was located on West Broadway south of 11th Avenue West on the south side of the railroad tracks. Various farms can be seen in the background on the right side of the image.

Written on original box: Dickinson From Hill South of Town. Note Russell-Miller milling this mill was located south of the main NPRR line at the WEST end of town, about equal to where 11th Ave West terminates just north of the main line. Check the 1913 Sanborn Fire Insurance map, plate 1 and plate 12.
