Photo of the exterior of the Dickinson, ND, Public Library. The majority of the photo shows the original Public Library building. The new extension to the building is on the right side. The building is made of brick. A sidewalk runs in front of the original building and steps lead up to the front entrance. Above the front entrance is the date 1908 and the words Public Library. Both the original and new buildings have a basement. There are 4 glass windows on the left side and 3 glass widows on the front of the original building. Trees and a hedge surround the building. To the right of the building is seen a home. A stop sign can be seen on the far right of the photo. The front of a car can be seen on the far right of the photo. On the left side of the can be seen part of 2 story home, with 2 windows, a shed, and a detached garage. A light pole can be seen near the street, and a telephone pole and wires can be seen to the left side of the original library building.
