Photo showing the construction of Interstate Highway I-94. 3 truck haulers are being loaded from railroad cars by use of a conveyor. Next to the conveyor stands a man wearing a shirt, jeans, and a hard hat. Either sand or gravel is being unloaded. On top of one of the railroad cars stands a man wearing a shirt, jeans, and a hard hat. 2 young people stand watching the unloading of the railroad cars. A water tower can be seen beyond the railroad cars. The words Northern Pacific can be read on one railroad car. To the left of the haulers are a group of men wearing shirts, jeans, and hard hats. Some are members of the news media. One man, in front of the others, is using a movie camera to take pictures. On the far left of the photo is a fuel tank, the back end of a trailer, a pile of dirt, an outhouse, buildings, telephone poles and wires. Directly behind the haulers can be seen a fuel storage tank, a building and more telephone poles and wires. Behind the railroad cars can be see several grain elevators. Unidentified.
