The Fad

The Fad was a men's clothing store, that was located at 35 Sims St., in Dickinson, N.D. On the left are shelves filed with shoe polish and other items that cannot be identified. Further back, on the left side, is a gondola with stacks of slacks or jeans. On top of this gondola is a bouquet of flowers. In the front store window suits can be seen. On the top shelf, on the left side, are flowers. Other items on the left cannot be seen clearly. On the right side is a gondola with shelves of slacks or jeans. On the top shelf are gloves, and baseball hats. Behind this gondola is a stool and chairs used for trying on shoes. On the far right is a door to a try-on-room. To the left of this door are shelves with cowboy hats. To the left of the hats are 2 gondolas of slacks. On the end of the gondolas are the words Slacks by Asher. To the right of these gondolas are stacks of shirts. To the left of the shirts are belts. The gondola in front of the belts has more slacks. On the far right wall are hung shirts, sweaters, and jackets. In the center of the store is a large gondola with a wood shingle roof. In this gondola are hats. Further back, on the right side, are coats hung on hangers. Below these coats are suit cases and brief cases. Behind the coats is a check-out stand. Other items up front, on the right side, cannot be seen clearly. Exact date unknown.
