The Fad was a men's clothing store, that was located at 35 Sims St., in Dickinson, N.D. The photo is of 5 salesmen who worked at the Fad. They are all wearing a shirt, tie, and suits. The 1st 4 men are also wearing glasses. Behind the men is a check out stand. To the left of the stand is a wall telephone. To the left of the telephone are display shelves with shirts, a hat, and gifts for men. On the right of the men is a gondola filled with slacks. To the left of gondola is a table with boxes on top of it. Behind the gondola and table are 2 racks of jackets or coats. On the wall are 2 plaques. Exact date unknown. Identified.
These men are, from left to right: John Wolf, Adam Koffler, Steve Kainz, Paul Sticka, Mike Kuntz and Paul Ebeltoft Sr. All but Sticka were partners in the business.
This may have been taken circa 1969, after a remodeling and expansion of the store.
