Photo of Mr. L. W. Veigel, engineer and Mary Ellen Veigel, architect. He is wearing a striped shirt, striped bow tie, jacket, and glasses. He has a angle in his right hand. She is wearing a dress with a jacket and glasses. She has the same angle in her right hand that he has. They are both at a drafting table, working on maps. On top of the table are 3 rolls of masking tape. In front of the tape is a 1 foot ruler and a pencil. Above the table is an adjustable light. Next to Mr. Veigel's right hand is another ruler. On the wall behind him is a picture with the words "Great parts of the Country". A sky-lift can be seen on it. On another picture are the words "Great parts of the Country". Tulips and Dutch windmills can be seen on it. On another picture are the words "Parts of the Country". A bull and rider can be seen on this picture. On a peg board, on the wall, is a wall clock, are 40 degree and 60 degree angles, a French curve, a calendar which reads "November" and "1971", a hand brush, and a picture of a burned out building. To the right of the peg board is a window, with a pull down shade. On a shelf by the window are books. Behind him is another drafting table, with a light, and an ink bottle. A map also hangs in front of this drafting table. On a peg board, on the wall, are drafting items, and a French curve. Above this peg board are 2 framed diplomas and awards. In the lower part of the photo is seen part of a drafting table with maps on it. One has words which read "Soil Survey Report", and "County General Soil Maps". Identified.
