Description
Meeting of the 4-H Club members in Dickinson, N.D. The meeting was held at the Community Building. The photo is taken from the back of the audience, looking at the stage. People are sitting in folding chairs. On the stage is a band, with member wearing their school band uniforms. On the far left side of the stage is a folded chair, on top of the stage, then a desk, the band, and 2 girl singers. Also on the far right, behind the stage curtain, 2 legs and 2 feet. On the far right of the stage is a woman playing the piano. A trombone is on the floor under the piano. The 2 singers are both wearing dresses and name tags. 3 pails with flowers are on the front of the stage. Chevrons hang from the front of the stage with the 4-H Club symbol on them, and the words To make the Best Better. A banner at the back of the stage reads Make the Best Better. There is a 4-H chevron on both sides of the banner with the words 4-H Club and the 4-H Club symbol on them. Chevrons hang from the ceiling. Exact date unknown. Probably early 1950s. Unidentified.
