Military Honor Guard procession down Villard Street, in Dickinson, ND. In front of the hearse, marching, are 2 Military Police, with rifles over their shoulders and wearing helmets. Two other Military men are carrying flags, the U.S. flag, and an American Legion, Dickinson, ND, Matthew Brew Post, flag. The hearse is behind these 4 military men. Other men, marching and in military clothing, are on both sides of the hearse. Cars are parked on both sides of the street. The railroad depot is on the right side, and a signs on the depot read Western Union and The Midget Newsstand. 2 license plates on cars read, North Dakota, 44-310, 1953, and North Dakota, 88-319, 1953. Business signs on the left side read Dodge and Plymouth; Bineks, Booths Lunches Fountain Chops Steak Hamburgers and Malted Milks; Dickinson (movie theater) with a movie titled Million Dollar Mermaid, in color, staring Esther Williams and Victor Mature; Beaudonin's Wines and Liquors; Service Drug Co, Drugs, Rexall Drugs; Greene Drugs, Walgreen Agency, Fountain Lunch; Florsheim Shoes, Dickinson Shoe Store; Marshall-Wells Stores, Furniture, Paul Schilla, Zenith Appliances, The Best in ...; and Lish Hardware Co. A tall TV antenna is seen on the top of building on the left side. Unidentified.
