Turkish Delegation Agricultural Tour

Negative from a print. A photo of a picture post card. At the bottom of the photo are the words McKenzie Co Court House & Jail. Schafer N.D. NO 1. The Court House was built in 1910. Schafer was 5 east of Watford City, on North Dakota State Highway 23. A man sits on a horse and is wearing a coat and chaps. An old car, without a top, and wood spoke wheels, has a man sitting behind the wheel. He is wearing a pith hat and uniform. Both men cannot be described in more detail because the photo is not clear enough. On the left side is a building with a porch on the front. 4 windows and 2 doors with glass tops, are in the front of the building. Above the porch is a single window. A single chimney can see. A room has been added on the right side of this building. Between this building and the jail a horse can be seen in the background. The jail is made of stone with iron bars over the windows. It has a steep metal roof. Exact date unknown. Unidentified.
