At the bottom of the photo is the Heart River. Across the river is a vacant area where the Jay-Cees Park, in the City of Dickinson, will be built. The main street, in the center of the photo, is 4th Ave SE. 2 railroad cars can be seen at the end of the street. The tall building, in the center of the photo, is the Ray Hotel. It was located at 22 E. Villard St. The large building, with a tall smokestack, was St. Joseph's Hospital. It was located at W 7 St. On the far left side, is St. Joseph's Church. It is located at 240 E Broadway. On the right side of the photo is a water tower. To the right of the water tower was the Farmers Co-operative Union (grain) elevator Co. It was located at E Villard St. To the left of this elevator are fuel storage tanks. On the far right of the photo are 3 more railroad cars. At the bottom of 4th Ave SE, on the East side, a new home is being built. 2 workers can be seen working on the roof. Exact date unknown. Unidentified.
