Matt Crowley-(1874-1955)-Came to North Dakota with his family in 1887 from Houston, MN to establish a ranch on Knife River north of Hebron in Mercer Co. He grew up to take over the family ranch and became active in affairs of the Stockmen's Association and was elected to NDSU's Hall of fame. Was county commissioner, Mercer Co for ten years. Portrait. Identified.
