James A. Wilson- (1862-1949)- Whether handling a horse , a roundup or any kind of herd or gun, Jim was rated the best. He also knew all of the Reservations and most of the Indians. From Ft. Worth he trailed cattle to Dakota when it was a territory. In 1896, he rode into Dickinson as a point rider for Converse. He rode 1000 horses on the reservation and later years he lived in Halliday. Portrait. Identified.
