A sign next to a telephone pole reads Damon's New, (the rest of the words cannot be read) and the word Students. The next sign reads Pool Room and Cigars and Tobacco. The last sign reads American Hotel.
On the right side of the street words painted on a wood wall read Linsley, and W. C. Candee Jewelers. The next painted sign on the side of the building reads Groceries and Glass Ware, Geo. Drenkel, Winona Wagons, Bushford Wagons, Machinery, Binders, and Mowers. Another sign reads City Bakery. Barnes St. is unpaved. There are horses and wagons on the street. A man is walking across the street with a rifle in his right hand. People can be seen walking on the sidewalks. Exact date unknown. Unidentified. Written in the lower right corner is, "87."
Written on the back in the upper left is, "#85 ALBUM / 137 SCRIPT." Written on the right is, "(87) / NEG# / 129."
