Description
A farm foreclosure near Beach, ND. 2 men standing in a farm yard. The man on the right is Capt. Wayne Klinefelter. He is wearing his Army uniform. He is carrying a pistol, attached to his belt. The crossed rifles on the lapel of his jacket say he is in the infantry. He has several pins and battle ribbons on his jacket. He has a braided rope handing from the end of his pistol holder. On the left side of the photo part of a farm building can be seen. On the right side of the photo part of a truck can be seen. Exact date and location unknown. Unidentified.

Information from Osborn index #282 says "Capt. Klinefelter talking to a neighbor of a farmer who owned a 1/4 section of land that was about to be foreclosed under the Moratorium Act sponsored and supported by Bill Langer, former Governor & Senator from North Dakota, 1937 near Beach ND. It turned out that the land owner had left the Beach area several years prior and had not been heard from & no one seemed to know his address. Accompanying Capt. ordered by the Governor were Lt. Osborn and Sgt. Jahr."
