A Frosty Morning -First Street West
Title
A Frosty Morning -First Street West
Description
Winter view of First Street West, looking north from the corner of First Street West and First Avenue West. On the right is a two story brick building that is the Merchants National Bank. On the street, next to the bank building, is pile of what appears to be lumber and possibly other construction debris. North of the bank building are several houses and the Congregational Church, which has a steeple. On the left side of the street are several buildings that appear to be homes. The view is partially obstructed by trees, which are covered with heavy frost. The street is lined with telephone and electric poles. In the middle of the street is a wagon, with a driver, being pulled by a single horse. Exact date unknown. Not identified. NOTE: there is damage to this negative.
