He is wearing a jacket, with large buttons, a high collar, pants, with a strip down the pants legs, gloves, a hat, with a possible chord on the right side, and a plume. He has a ribbon, with a metal on the bottom, on the left side of his jacket. He has a sword in a scabbard, with a chord attached to it. He is wearing glasses. His right hand lays on 3 books. The 1st book is Crime and Punishment. The books are on a table. Behind him are drapes. There is the number 1 in the lower right corner of the negative. Exact date and location unknown. Identified.
