The 2nd man, on the 1st row, is wearing a gown with a ribbon and the word Bismarck on the front of the gown. On collar of the gown are the numbers 40 and 8, and the letters N.D.. He is also wearing a hat, but the numbers cannot be read clearly. The 3rd man, on the 1st row, is wearing a gown with a bow and the word Mandan and a patch that reads Northern Pacific. His hat has the numbers 40 and 8, the letters N.D., the word National and the date 1951. The 4th man, on the 1t row, is wearing a gown, with a ribbon, and the word Fargo on the front. He is also wearing glasses and a hat with the numbers 40 and 8 and French words on it. The 5th man, on the 1st row, is wearing a gown, with the word Bismarck on it, and the numbers 40 and 8, and 291 N.D., on the collar of the gown. He is also wearing glasses and a hat with the numbers 40 and 8 and the letters N.D. on it. There are also French words on the hat and a date that cannot be completely read. The 6th man, on the 1st row, is wearing a gown with a bow, and the word Mandan on the front and a patch with the words Northern Pacific on it. He is also wearing a large button with the word Mandan on it, and a hat with the numbers 40 and 8 and the letters N. Dak.. There are French words on the hat and a date that cannot be read. The 7th man, on the 1st row, is wearing a shirt, tie, suit jacket, and a hat with a ribbon on the right side. Words and numbers on his hat cannot be clearly read. The 8th man, on the 1st row, is wearing a shirt, tie, suit jacket, with a lapel pin, and a hat. Numbers and words on the hat cannot be read clearly.
