Photo of a possible asthma patient. He is in bed, on his back, wearing a shirt and wrist watch. He is using a chest respirator to breath. He has a oxygen tent over his head. There is a hose that runs from the oxygen tent to device on the wall that has a glass jar, with water, on the bottom, and dial with the word oxygen on it, in the middle, and the word oxygen written on top of it. A nun, nurse, wearing a nun's uniform, hood, and crucifix, has her right hand on the back of the oxygen tent. Another nun, nurse, has her left hand on the polio patient's right wrist and is taking his pulse. She is wearing a nun's uniform, hood, and glasses. 2 men stand by the bed. The 1st man is wearing a shirt, tie, striped jacket, pants, and a hat. On the right side of the hat is the VFW symbol. The number 3444 is on the front of the hat. Other items on the left side of the hat cannot be seen clearly. The 2nd man is wearing a shirt, tie, with a VFW symbol on it, a suit with a lapel pin, glasses, and a hat. On the right side of the hat is the VFW symbol. The number 3444 is on the front of the hat, and on the left side, the word North. On the left wall is a window, with an open blind. A curtain, with a flower design, is on the right side of the window. Above the bed is a light, attached to the wall, with a string attached to the bottom of the light, to turn it on and off. Exact date and location unknown. Probably early 1950s. Unidentified.
