Description
Photo of a banquet meeting of the Cow Belles. The Cow Belles, is a woman's auxiliary of the North Dakota Stockmen's Association. 12 members are sitting in chairs, and except for two women, all are facing the camera. Almost all of the women are wearing dresses, hats (except for 3 women), ear rings, and name tags. On the banquet tables are cups, saucers, plates, silverware, water glasses, salt and pepper shakers, sugar, ashtrays, and rolls. Behind the women is a stage. On the stage is a podium, a bench seat, a picture of an elk, with evergreens, chairs, and a piano. To the right of the stage is a Proscenium arch, then wallpapered walls, and then a bar. A big mirror is in the center of the bar with 3 glass shelves on both sides of the mirror. Glasses are on the glass shelves. Coke bottles are on the left side of the bar. A cash register can be seen from a reflection in the bar mirror. Exact date unknown. Probably early 1950s. Unidentified.
