The Order of the Eastern Star is a Freemasonic appendant body open now to both men and women. Originally it was just for women. The order is based on teachings from the Bible, but is open to people of all religious beliefs. A photo of 6 women members of the Eastern Star. Photo was taken in the Masonic building. The 1st woman is wearing a dress, necklace, glasses, a wrist watch, and has a pin on the upper right part of her dress. The 2nd woman is wearing a dress, pearl necklace, earrings, wrist watch, and has a pin on upper right part of her dress, and a ribbon near her waist. The 3rd woman is wearing a dress, necklace, earrings, wrist watch, and has a pin on the upper right part of her dress. The 4th woman is wearing a dress, earrings, and a necklace. The 5th woman is wearing a dress, earring, bracelet, and a wrist watch. The 6th woman is wearing a dress, earrings, necklace, glasses, and a wrist watch. On the wall behind them are 2 framed grills with flowers and other designs. A large beam can be seen hanging from the ceiling. Unidentified.
