Photo showing 2 Northwestern Bell Telephone employees in the process of putting up a telephone pole. One employee, standing at the back of the truck, is wearing a shirt, jeans, gloves, hard hat, and glasses. The other employee is in the driver's seat in the truck. On the passenger side door there is a sign that reads Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, Bell System. The telephone pole is attached to a wire, and a cross member is attached to the pole. The pole is being pulling up by a machine at the back of the truck. The truck has tubes attached to both sides of the truck. A culvert can be seen laying next to a telephone pole. 3 telephone poles with wires can be seen. Beyond the telephone poles and wires can be seen farm buildings. On the far right of the photo can be seen a station wagon automobile. The land in the background is either farm or ranch land. Exact location unknown. Unidentified.
