Description
13 officers of the German Hungarian Club in Dickinson, North Dakota. Photo probably taken in the early 1950s. The woman, on the 1st row, is wearing a dress, glasses, and wrist watch. She has her purse in her lap. All 12 of the men are wearing shirts, ties (except 1 man who is wearing a bow tie, and 1 man who is not wearing a tie, and suits (except 1 man who is wearing a sweater). 7 of the men are wearing glasses. On the left side of the officers is a pole with a banner and large streamers. The streamer on the left side has the date 1912 on it and the letter D - U - L- u. U - V -. The Streamer on the right side reads Dickinson, N. Dak. 2 hands shaking can be seen on the banner, and the date 1912. On the left side of the back wall is a framed picture of George Washington. To the right of the framed picture is wallpaper, with champagne bubbles, and glass block windows. A piano, and the American flag, is on the right side of the photo. 4 ceiling light fixtures (2 with bulbs) can be seen. Exact date unknown. Unidentified.
