Aviation Class
Title
Aviation Class
Description
14 well-dressed women arranged for a photo in front of some bookshelves. They are all wearing a variety of clothes, from suits to dresses and anything in-between. The lady centered in the far back is holding a banjo. The lady in the middle of the far left is wearing a mortarboard. Perhaps the Dorcas Society or the PEO Sisterhood. Location is likely a Law Office. Attached to a pillar on the left is a calendar which reads May 1924.

Cataloguer's Notes
Envelope only. The envelope is well worn and taped together to keep it together. It has a date which has been partially lost (3rd day of some month in 1940), a city (Dickinson), and a note of 2 photos each for \"Worth,\"" likely someone who ordered prints.
Only 2 of the photos that were found inside are clearly related to flying. The other 3 photos look older than 1940 so most likely they were inside the wrong envelope.
