Description
Photo shows young women in a sewing classroom, sitting a manual sewing machines, sewing garments. All are looking at the photographer. Students are dressed in school attire. 2 teachers are seen standing in the back of the classroom. Electric wires and light bulbs hang from the ceiling. A row of windows are on the left side of the classroom. In the right front of the classroom is a teacher's desk, with hand bell to start the class and with a box containing spools of thread for the sewing machines. Also on the desk is an ink pen and ink bottle, a pencil, a box, a ruler, a note pad and paper. Unidentified. Date unknown. Possibly in the 1930s.
