The woman by the cash register in the dark dress is my aunt, Irma Boehler Binek.  She and my uncle, George Binek, owned the rec with the card room and bar in the basement and also a Chinese American full service restaurant.  They brought the chef, David, from China and he lived in a small efficiency above the rec.  My aunt and uncle had a beautiful apartment above the rec also.  They also owned a feedlot in town and some other entities that I don't have much detail about.  Every year they would spend the winter months in their home in Sebring Florida where my aunt would paint and relax with friends and my uncle would tend to his citrus trees and go deep sea fishing.
