Photo showing a large crowd Dickinson, N.D., citizens, attending the leaving of the North Dakota National Guard, Co. K., 164 Infantry Regiment. The crowd is seen from the back. Men are wearing jackets, jeans, and hats. Many women are wearing coats, and hats or scarfs. Snow can be seen on the ground. Across Villard Street, on the corner, is the 1st National Bank building. Across 1st street West, is the Wecker Drug building. To the right of the drug store is Stockman's bar, and to the right of the bar, is Lish's Hardware. To the right of the hardware store is the Dickinson Shoe Store. To the right of the shoe store is Schilla Hardware store, also named Marshall - Wells Store. A sign on the building reads Zenith Home Appliances. Below the Marshall - Wells Store sign it reads Furniture, Paul Schilla, owner, Hardware. Several American flags can be seen. Most of the cars parked on Villard Street are late 1940s or early 1950s models. Exact date unknown. Unidentified.
