Description

The photo was taken during the American Legion Open house, in the American Legion building, in Dickinson, ND. The 1st Legionnaire, who is standing behind a microphone, is wearing a shirt, a bow tie with dots on it, a suit, a name tag with the word Welcome on it, another tag whose words cannot be read, and glasses. The 2nd Legionnaire is wearing a shirt, a tie with dots on it, a suit, and a hat. He has a pen in the left pocket of his suit jacket and a name tag above it. On his hat is the symbol for the American Legion and the words North Dakota. On the left side of the photo is an opened folding door. This leads to another room in which a table, chairs, a curtain and a hanging light fixture can be seen. Above the entrance to that room is a Christmas wreath. To the left of the 2 Legionnaires is another microphone, and a railing. A piano is on the right side of the photo, along with a small railing, a suit case, a travel bag, and part of a Christmas tree with ornaments. Flowers are on top of the piano. 3 ceiling lights can also be seen. Unidentified.
