Photo of a 2 men. The 1st man, on the left, is wearing a shirt, tie, plaid jacket, and slacks. He his handing a ticket to the 2nd man with his right hand. The 2nd man, on the right, is Major Sorlie, an American Legion member. He is wearing a shirt, a tie with dots, and a suit with a pin in the left lapel of his suit jacket. He is also wearing glasses and an American Legion hat that has the symbol of the American Legion on the right side, and the words North Dakota on it. On the right side of the hat is a ribbon. He is receiving a ticket with his right hand. Behind the 2 men is an unframed painting of W. W. I Soldiers. In the painting 5 soldiers can be seen in a trench, with rolled barbed wire, in front of the trench, and a burned farm building. In the lower left corner of the painting are the words Warfare, and World War I. Also, behind the 2 men is an American flag. To the right of the painting, is a wall model of 2 bowling pins and a bowling ball. Exact date unknown. The man on the left unidentified.
