Description
The Order of the Eastern Star is a Freemasonic appendant body open now to both men and women. Originally it was just for women. The order is based on teachings from the Bible, but is open to people of all religious beliefs. A photo of women members of the Eastern Star, and men Masonic members. Photo was taken in the Masonic building. All of the women are wearing dresses. Some are also wearing earrings, necklaces, glasses, corsages, and wrist watches. The men are all wearing shirts, bow ties, and suits. Some of the men are wearing glasses. Those men and women who are wearing name tags have a button on top of the name tag. The 1st woman, on the 1st row, has a ribbon that reads SLC, Pathfinder, 1960-74. On the wall behind them are 2 framed grills with flowers and other designs. A large beam and 2 lights can be seen hanging from the ceiling. Unidentified.
