Title

Business (Bank) office

Description

A photo inside a bank office. Photo taken from behind the front desk. A young lady is sitting behind the front desk, reading an opened newspaper. A desk with a few materials on it is on the right. On the left is a stack of papers under a counter. To the left of the front desk is a vault-like door with a sign for the Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Company.
Notes in the Index listing describes this as being inside the Liberty National Bank, which was located at 28 First Avenue West and was founded as the German-Bohemian Bank in 1906. The Liberty National Bank later moved to 46 First Street West in 1945 and then to 115 First Avenue West in the 1960s.
