Strands of lights and wires crossing the street are covered in garland.

MDU moved to this location in the St. Charles Hotel annex in June 1931. Mari-Posa Beauty Shop moved here in October 1936. Nicola's store closed in September 1939. This means the photo was taken sometime between October 1936-September 1939.
