A nitrate negative showing East Villard in the winter looking West. The St. Charles Hotel and annex can be seen on the far right. Businesses in the annex include MDU, Mari-Posa Beauty Shop and Nicola's store. Further down signs for Billiards and Florsheim Shoes can be seen. Strands of lights and wires crossing the street are covered in garland.

These photos were loose and not in an envelope. Nitrate.

MDU moved to this location in the St. Charles Hotel annex in June 1931. Mari-Posa Beauty Shop moved here in October 1936. Nicola's store closed in September 1939. This means the photo was taken sometime between October 1936-September 1939.
