Photo of a Northwestern Bell Telephone employee. The man is sitting at a desk and is wearing a suit, tie, and a wrist watch. He has a pen in his left hand. He is signing papers. On his desk are papers, a bill/receipt machine, a small model phone, a stapler, 2 paper trays, and a phone. Behind him, on a blackboard, are columns with the following written at the top of the different columns. I & T, Ext, PRN, BEC, Color, RLT, HMS, and Total. On the left side row the following is read Objective, Last WK,, CUM This MO., CUM This WK., and Yesterday. To his left is a bookcase with binders, and on top is a brief case, a package, with a sign above that reads Observe, a tape dispenser, and a sign that reads J. D. Starck, Manager. Above the bookshelf is a glass window, and through it can be seen different types of telephones. Also seen are 4 framed wall pictures. To the right, through the widow, can be seen a plant, and an adding machine on a desk top. Identified.
