Photo shows a woman lying in a hospital bed, at her home. A widow is on the left side with a curtain over the window. On the wall above her head are 4 plaques. On a shelf, in the headboard, is a table lamp, a pen in a pen holder, a framed picture of a child, a pipe, a binder. and part of a Native American vase. On the bed, the woman has an iron lung over her chest, with an air hose attached to it, to allow for breathing. She has polio. She has a serving tray in front of her and an open newspaper. On her head is a special telephone that allows her to phone out and receive calls coming in. Below the bed can be see the motor that operates the iron lung. Also seen is a phone box with attached telephone chords. Exact location unknown. Unidentified.
