Photo shows a crane being used to drive pilings into a river for a bridge. A small peninsula of dirt and rock has been pushed into the river to allow the crane to drive the pilings into the exact location. On the right side of the crane are large letters B and E. Words on the side read Bucyrus-Erie Company and the numbers 50-T. Where the pilings are being driven into the river, there is a floating island of wood planks. On the planks are 3 men. The 1st man, with his back to the camera, is wearing a shirt, jeans, gloves, wrist watch, and a hard hat. He is holding a re-bar rod in his hands. The 2nd man, is wearing a shirt, jeans, gloves, wrist watch, and a hard hat. The 3rd man is carrying a 4' x 8' piece of plywood. Only his legs and gloved hands can be seen.
