N. P. Ice Loading Ramp & Platform for refrigerator car. NP Dike.

A photo of the N.P. ice loading ramp and platform for refrigerator cars. It is made of wood. A long line of railroad boxcars can be seen on the right side of the ice loading platform. On one car the words Northern Pacific can be read. On the left side of the ice loading platform railroad tracks can be seen. The pile of dirt on the left side of the ice loading platform is probably sawdust which was used to insulate the ice in ice houses. Many telephone poles with telephone and electrical wires can be seen. Exact date and location unknown.
