The photo was taken during the American Legion Open house, in the American Legion building, in Dickinson, ND. A woman is standing in front of a microphone, and is wearing a dress with a corsage, a coat, a hat with feathers on it, a name tag with the word Welcome on it, and a purse in her left hand. He is also holding a glasses in her left hand. She is shaking hands with a Legionnaire. The 2nd Legionnaire is wearing a shirt, a tie with dots on it, a suit, and a hat.
